When launching it on my Vista 32-bit computer tmforever.exe crashes with the error message:

Nadeo Launcher has stopped working

What solved my problem was to install the latest DirectX 9.0c drivers. Get them here.

Please note that you really need to download them manually. Using Windows Update will (currently) not give you the latest, there are many versions of DirectX 9.0c (the March 2008 update being the latest as of now).

Do also note that I had to do this despite running Vista which already got DirectX 10.

You milage may vary, but this fixed the problem for me.
